SERVING THE MODULAR ENERGY INDUSTRY FOR MORE THAN A DECADE
VFuels LLC has been successfully delivering modular process equipment across the world for over a decade. Our focus is on serving Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Asia, and other emerging economies that need valuable fuel refining and gas processing infrastructure.
Based on the VFuels team's vast experience in modular projects in these areas, VFuels was formed with the belief that it can best serve these markets with a physical and technical presence, taking an active role in project development and support.
VFuels takes a client's idea and drives the development process through to project completion. From feasibility, Front End Engineering (FEED), fundraising support, Detailed Design & Engineering (DD&E), fabrication & turnkey project delivery, and operation & maintenance (O&M), VFuels sees every project through to a successful startup.
Knowing that no two projects are the same, VFuels goal’s are to help each client achieve its own successful modular crude oil refining or modular gas processing project.

In 2024, VFuels launched an initiative aimed at empowering the next generation of leaders across Africa and the Middle East. This programme provides critical support to students, helping them overcome financial barriers to education.
Recognizing that many students in Africa and the Middle East face significant financial challenges that prevent them from accessing education, VFuels stepped in to change this reality. By covering school fees and providing essential educational resources, we aim to ensure that all students can pursue their academic goals without hindrance.

We are committed to achieving environmentally conscious performance through our operations. We recognize most of the work we do has some potential impact on our environment and the implementation of mitigation measures to control these impacts are therefore critical to our business.
VFuels typically minimizes this impact through an environmentally conscious design, use of proper equipment, adequate control technology and good operational practices such as the implementation of oil spill control, air emissions control, oily water treatment system, reuse of wastewater, noise control and waste management plan.
We engage our employees, suppliers, sub-contractors, and clients to support our management approach and commitments to environmental protection and sustainable development.
Our approach to environmental protection focuses on efforts to combat climate change, reduce the GHG emissions as well as sustainable use of resources. At VFuels, we audit the GHG emissions from our offices and projects in order to reduce our environmental footprint and be more efficient.
Partnerships with Earth Technologies and EMCO Engineering were secured to propose additional sustainable solutions to our clients, including renewable energy systems and water treatment facilities for oil & gas assets.

VFuels' projects support different opportunities for local jobs creation and the procurement of local services. During a refinery's engineering phase, up to 30-50 engineers work on the project, while a modular refinery's construction phase typically supports around 350-400 jobs split between workmanship, engineering, logistics & management personnel.
After the handing over of the project, around 40 to 50 operations & maintenance (O&M) opportunities are created for local personnel taking shifts and operating the facility under the supervision of the O&M team.
The company's projects do create significant local jobs opportunities and its work on site supports technology transfers through its interaction and supervision with the local workforce and subcontractors.
